Whisky Tours Add comments 2 Responses to “Whisky Tours” Jean De Angeli says: September 30, 2014 at 4:49 pm Many years ago my husband and I were in the catering business and liked a whiskey or two. We finished in 85 at Royal St Georges Kent and my husband retired. Unfortunately He passed away Sept 2013. We had a bottle given to us of Islay Mist and could not drink it. I had come to the end of Grouse the other evening and tried some Islay and it was lovely so I thought I would look on the internet. Perhaps you could guide me into a few to try. I would maybe start with something like Bowmore 12. Fairly priced, and very much an Islay malt. If you’re feeling brave and are interested in a little more oomph and a slightly bigger price tag perhaps Lagavulin 16 or Ardbeg Uigeadail. I think you’ll find others may recommend some other Ardbeg or Laphroaig releases, but they may be a little more ‘rambunctious’ for someone just testing the waters. Best of luck Curt Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your Comment You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code> <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <s> <strike> <strong> Name (required) E-mail (required) URI Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
